Garlic Oil is a great staple to keep on hand in your fridge! This Garlic Olive Oil Recipe works great in almost any Italian recipe as a base for sautéing ingredients, for inclusion in dressings, or as a simple marinade.
If you love garlic, Italian food, great salad dressings and marinades, this recipe is a must! It’s so simple to make but such a powerful force of flavor that you’ll enjoy using it to liven up your favorite dishes. We use it frequently for cooking Italian sauces. Add a little of this oil to a sauce pot with some chopped Roma tomatoes and a little Italian seasoning and you’ve got a quick red sauce that’s amazing! Or, make a quick lemon garlic dressing by adding a little lemon juice. As you can see, this recipe is very versatile.
While this is a simple recipe to make, it’s important that you blend the garlic until there are no visible pieces. It should be creamy with a bite from the garlic. Remember, while it’s potent, you aren’t going to use it in large amounts for any single dish. Just a little bit of this oil works wonders!
This recipe is one of my absolute favorites because I can use it in so many different recipes but it’s also made with only three simple ingredients!
