If you haven’t had Fried Okra and aren’t sure you’ll love it, I can ask you one quick question to help you make your decision; do you like fried zucchini? If so, you’ll love this Fried Okra Recipe because it tastes very similar in both texture and flavor.
Fried Okra is crispy on the outside, just a bit chewy, and soft on the inside. I cut them into half-inch bite sizes which makes them perfect for skewering with toothpicks and dunking into some good Buffalo Wing Sauce. And, I’ve got you covered in that department! Here’s the perfect Buffalo Sauce recipe.
What Is Okra?
Okra are seed pods which come from a plant which produces flowers. It’s technically a fruit but tastes more like a vegetable. It has a similar flavor to that of zucchini and is known for a whole host of nutritional benefits.
